REDEFINING HIGHER EDUCATION: INNOVATION, INCLUSION, AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT DURING WARTIME

Ця монографія представляє поглиблене дослідження того, як університети використовують свою роль ключових гравців у досягненні Цілей сталого розвитку. Вона починається з контексту України, а саме впливу війни на академічний потенціал, аналізу широкого спектру соціально-економічних, соціально-психологічних, професійних та особистих викликів, які виникли під час війни. Для подолання цих викликів пропонується дорожня карта для системних реформ і розвитку сталої інституційної екосистеми на основі моделі потрійної спіралі, яка поєднує в собі людиноцентричні та інфраструктурні стратегії.
Подальша розповідь будується на цій основі, досліджуючи тему інклюзивності та доступності в освіті. Зокрема, розглядається, як вищі навчальні заклади України впровадили адаптивні стратегії під час триваючої війни для створення безбар’єрного середовища, забезпечуючи таким чином повну участь усіх студентів і викладачів.
Далі монографія переходить до детального обговорення інтеграції STEM-освіти, підкреслюючи її життєво важливу роль у національному відродженні та узгодженості з глобальними цілями сталого розвитку. У цьому розділі показано, як STEM-освіта може стати потужним каталізатором суспільних перетворень, надаючи студентам навички, необхідні для вирішення поточних і майбутніх викликів.
Крім того, текст заглиблюється в спеціалізовану сферу нанотехнологічної освіти, виступаючи за синергію освіти, науки, цінностей. Цей інноваційний підхід узгоджує технологічний прогрес з етичними стандартами та стійкою практикою, позначаючи його як нову парадигму для підготовки висококваліфікованого та відповідального фахівця.
Зрештою, теми синтезовані через гармонізацію інституційної культури, цінностей, стратегій розвитку університетів та Цілей сталого розвитку. Кейс-стаді Бердянського державного педагогічного університету, що під час війни прийняв модель «Університет без стін», показує, як впровадження основних цінностей у місію університету може сприяти розбудові стійкої інституційної екосистеми та більш глобальним мотивам у розвитку громад і суспільства.
Загалом, монографія не лише окреслює виклики, з якими зіткнулася українська вища освіта під час війни, але також висвітлює інноваційні реакції та критичну роль, яку ці заклади відіграють у стимулюванні сталого розвитку. Вона має на меті представити дорожню карту для інших навчальних закладів, демонструючи, що навіть у часи кризи вища освіта може і повинна бути маяком надії та прогресу, ключовим драйвером у просуванні сталого розвитку.
